Soccer Podcast Goes Live In Norwich

A massive multimedia football podcast is set to go live in Norfolk this winter.

Critically-acclaimed podcast The Football Ramble is heading to Norwich Theatre Royal on Halloween night to cast its eyes over all the sensational soccer stories.

The team will also give their unique take on the major talking points from the sport, plus reflect on the best and most ridiculous moments from the footballing world.

Luke Moore, who is one of the team, said: “I am absolutely delighted to take The Football Ramble back on the road for our biggest tour to date and I can’t wait to play my part as sidekick to The Pete Donaldson Experience. I don’t know what he has got planned but it’s sure to be explosive.”

Fellow Rambler Pete Donaldson added: “I can’t wait to get back out on the road. I have brought several awful new playsuits that I want to inflict on my people and a new deluxe travel iron. I can’t wait to try that out.”

The Football Ramble podcast was founded in late 2007 around a kitchen table by Luke and his friend Marcus Speller. Comedian Jim Campbell and Absolute Radio DJ Pete Donaldson were then recruited to the team.

By 2009, the fortnightly show became weekly and got to number one in the iTunes sports podcast chart. Now twice-weekly with over 65 million downloads, it is becoming a must-listen for footie fans.

It has since evolved into a stage show too and the theatrical experience is set to go global. After the current UK tour, The Football Ramble Live is heading across the pond to the US and Canada for shows in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Chicago and Toronto.
