They are as much a part of Norfolk life as the Canaries, Norwich City Centre traffic congestion and the Puppet Man, who they have been known to pay homage to.
And the Nimmo Twins have just announced two bonus autumn gigs on home turf at Norwich Theatre Royal.
The dates on October 13-14 will be the very last chance to see their award-winning show The Country Members, following completely sold-out runs at both Norwich Playhouse and the Theatre Royal.
And that also means an extra opportunity to see many of their favourite characters and routines including She Goo, Billy Boy, Anne, The Council and Hauswerk.
As an added bonus, Karl Minns and Owen Evans, aka The Nimmos, are also previewing some new material for their next show.
Karl said: “The reaction to The Country Members has been incredible and we’re delighted to bring the show back one more time to the Royal. The laughter has been wonderful to behold at every performance and we’ve had people booking to see the show again and again. If you’ve never seen us, put on your laughing trousers and prepare for two hours of fun. Plus, there’s a few new bits we’d like to try out. It’s a guaranteed great night out. Dew yew be joining us altogether”.
John Bultitude, of Norwich Theatre Royal, added: “Nimmo Twins tickets tend to be hotter than a freshly cooked burger off Debs’ food stall on Norwich Market. Don’t miss out. Book early to get the best seats for what will be the last chance to see this show. There in’t no excuse for missin’ out on this roight hoom’rous shoo.”
